Husband and wife argue, throw knife right neighbors

The 29-year-old Cambodian man miraculously survived after a neighboring couple quarreled and accidentally threw a knife at him.

The knife flew out the neighbor's neighbor's window and plugged in Chea Sokkot's head while he was repairing a boat in Kampong Cham. One has to take him into the hospital to break the blade still deep in the skull.

The accident occurred after a clash between two neighbors, Touch Channa and Sim Thea. While quarreling, Sim takes a knife to tear his wife's clothing Touch. Then Touch successfully took the knife out of Sim's hand and threw it to the back of the river, thinking that he had eliminated all danger.

Unfortunately, the knife fell on Chea's head. Touch was detained by police for investigating the incident on July 13.

Colonel Ek Pranon, the Kampong Kampang police chief, confirmed that Touch Channa was detained.

"Touch said she was arguing with her husband in a domestic violence case." Her husband took a knife, so Touch threw the knife and threw it at the back of the river. Victims are repairing boats on the Mekong River, "Ek said.

Dr. Sinath said the wounds on Che's head were serious but the situation was quite stable. "If the knife was removed as soon as it was plugged into Mr. Chea's head, it could cause blood loss and lead to death." Chea will be sent to a hospital in Phnom Penh.
